Central California's premier Private Investigation Agency.
I started Expert Investigations Group after retiring from a law enforcement career spanning over 20 years. The vast majority of my career was spent in one investigative assignment or another where I worked with victims from all walks of life in the pursuit of justice. I took pride in the fact I sought the truth; no agenda, no other objective, just the truth. I took the oath and obligations of law enforcement seriously and continually worked well within the boundaries set forth by our Constitution. Now, in the private sector, I want to continue helping others find the truth, ethically, with honor and integrity.
During my career I furthered my education and received an A.S. in Administration of Justice and a B.A. in Criminal Justice Management. As a front line supervisor I was responsible for numerous individuals in a wide variety of assignments including patrol, investigations, K-9, SWAT, gang and drug task forces, evidence technician, animal control, and school resource officer, among several others.
Throughout this time I was also assigned to several specialized units where I received highly specific training and invaluable experience which led to unparalleled expertise and an ability to apply this knowledge to the most complex and comprehensive criminal investigations. During my career I investigated almost every type of criminal case. Now I want to work for you as your personal, professional, private investigator. As such, you can take comfort knowing your investigative needs will be met with absolute confidentiality.
I offer Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) examinations as a convenient and beneficial tool in criminal, civil and workplace incident investigations as well as pre-employment background checks.
I offer consultation, case review and full-service criminal defense investigation services available for any type of criminal case. If you are a defendant in an active criminal case you should consult with your attorney about retaining a private investigator.
Investigations of cases involving divorce, child custody, parental abduction, infidelity, etc., often involve heightened emotions. EIG ensures our involvement in your case results in minimal disturbance to all involved parties. As part of any family law investigation I also offers financial, real estate and physical asset identification as necessary as well as surveillance services.
Various levels of pre-employment screenings are available to met your specific needs, including criminal history, credit checks, social media searches, driving record, employment history, residence verification, etc. A thorough background check of your prospective employees can give you the peace of mind of knowing who you're hiring.
EIG is available to conduct workplace incident investigations including asset loss, employee misconduct, and questionable workers compensation claims.
With the ever-rising levels of theft related crime, asset protection is more valuable now than ever before. In addition to asset protection assessment, I offer physical asset recovery services as well as asset loss investigation, including employee related loss or theft.
Having worked in several assignments where surveillance was an every day occurrence, including narcotics cases, worker's compensation insurance fraud and automotive insurance fraud, I am well versed in mobile and stationary surveillance techniques as well as counter surveillance methods. Surveillance is particularly useful in not only insurance industry cases but also infidelity, stalking, harassment, and court order violations.
I offer consultations and investigations of civil court cases including locating witnesses and obtaining statements, process service, court research, asset identification, scene reconstruction, etc.
I partner with an industry expert for physical extractions of digital devices including cell phones, computers, and other forms of digital media storage. This type of search is much more efficient than a physical search of the device which saves me time and, in turn, saves you money.
The answer to this questions depends on your circumstances. Simply stated, a private investigator can help you solve a problem through their expertise and access to information not available to the general public.
Unfortunately, law enforcement is overwhelmed and only the most serious criminal cases get their attention. Your case is important to you but to them, its just another case. A private investigator can offer their undivided attention to your case and its needs. Oftentimes a private investigator can work together with the law enforcement agency handling your case to achieve a favorable outcome.
Regarding criminal defense cases, every defendant has several Constitutionally protected rights. It's no secret; law enforcement is not perfect. They make mistakes and sometimes conduct inadequate investigations. A comprehensive review of your case by a criminal investigation expert can help highlight any errors, omissions or violations of policies, procedures or laws. These "mistakes" can cause innocent people to face unwarranted charges and undue mental and physical anguish. If you feel you were unfairly targeted or a legitimate victim of bias for whatever reason, talk to your attorney about hiring a private investigator. Criminal defense attorneys know the law inside and out, but they often aren't aware of the intricacies known to the seasoned law enforcement investigator.
Background investigations are primarily used for pre-employment purposes. For various reasons, many employers want to know who they are hiring. Many private investigators like myself conducted background investigations for sworn law enforcement positions. This type of background check is extremely detailed and can often take weeks to complete. Through the years I have streamlined this process to take only a few days to complete in most cases.
Expert Investigations Group (EIG) is licensed in the State of California (#189399) and primarily serves Kings County (Hanford, Lemoore, Corcoran, Stratford, Armona, Avenal and Kettleman City). EIG also serves the surrounding counties of Fresno, Tulare, Kern, Madera, Merced, Monterey and San Luis Obispo. Furthermore, EIG will conduct its investigations anywhere in the State of California as necessary.
The simple answer is, it depends. Fees are based on several variables including the type of work requested, the length of time needed to achieve the desired results, additional expenditures, etc. I generally operate on a retainer which is determined by the nature of your request. Backgrounds are based on a flat fee which varies depending on the scale you choose.
Give me a call, send me a text or shoot me an email for a brief no-cost, no-obligation consultation. Fees are determined on a case-by-case basis. As always, my services are offered discreetly and confidentially. I look forward to working with you.
